    Hi, my name is David A. Snyder, C.A.  I have been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the office of Glass Chiropractic since early 2006, working on all the auto injury and orthopedic injury cases.  I would like to tell you a little about what I can offer to patients.

    About Traditional Oriental Medicine

    Oriental medicine has been practiced for thousands of years.  It includes but is not limited to Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine.  Both of these modalities offer a safe, effective and complete way of treating the mind and body.  They work by balancing the body’s energy or qi.  It helps to strengthen the body in order to relieve disharmony and prevent future illnesses.  

    The National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have recognized the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating the following diseases and disorders:

    About the Clinic

    The Acupuncture clinic is dedicated to providing affordable and effective healthcare to its patients.  All needles and equipment that are used are sterile and safe.  There is an on site herbal pharmacy which includes superior Chinese herbal medications available in pill form.  They are easily digested and readily absorbed resulting in maximum improvements.  The treatment rooms are private in a medical office type setting.

    About the Practitioner

    David A. Snyder is a NJ and PA board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Medical Herbalist.  He is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  He graduated Drew University with a degree in biology and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a degree in Oriental Medicine.  The training at Pacific included over one thousand hours of patient treatment.  In addition, his training includes various externships such as St. Vincent’s HIV Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases.  He was in private practice in Lambertville for two years.  He has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 2005 and practicing with Dr. Glass, in Roselle Park since 2006.
